We are Vesturport, a renowned Icelandic theatre, television and film production company celebrated for its innovative and daring approach to storytelling. Founded in 2001 by a group of Icelandic artist including Björn Hlynur Haraldsson, Gísli Örn Garðarsson, Ingvar E Sigurðsson,  Nina Dögg Filippusdóttir, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson and others.

 

Vesturport has established itself as a creative force, blending traditional theatrical techniques with modern technology and bold reinterpretations of classic works.  

 

Our productions have been perfomed on major stages worldwide, including London´s Young Vic theatre, BAM in New York, the National Theatre, and festivals across Europe, Asia and North America
