The Heart of Robin Hood at the Royal Shakespeare Company
Gísli Örn Gardarsson will direct The Heart of Robin Hood at the Royal Shakespeare Company, written by David Farr.
Vesturport’s actor Ólafur Darri Ólafsson will play one of the leading parts in it.
Artistic team from Vesturport includes also Börkur Jónsson who designs the set. Björn Helgason who is the lighting designer. Högni Egilsson (from the band Hjaltalin and the latest GusGus album) composes the music and Selma Björnsdóttir is the associate director. The team will rehearse the production in London and then move it to Stratford upon Avon where it will open on December 1st.
Gisli, David, Börkur and Björn collaborated on Metamorphosis, which was last seen in the city of Norilsk in Siberia, Russia on the 6th and 7th of October.
