“The Heart of Robin Hood” in Hong Kong”

The show will be performed at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre with an international cast from the US, Canada, Norway, UK and Iceland with live music by Icelandic singer Salka Sól. 

The summer festival International Arts Carnival (IAC) will open this July with the Asia premiere of Vesturport’s “The Heart of Robin Hood” directed by Gísli Örn Gardarsson and Selma Björnsdóttir, written by UK playwright David Farr. 

The production was first premiered to great acclaim by the Royal Shakespeare Company in the UK in 2011, the show has gone on to have highly popular tours in Europe, Canada and the US.

“The Heart of Robin Hood” is performed in English with Chinese surtitles at 7.30pm from July 5th to 7th, and at 2.30pm on July 6th and 7th at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Grand Theatre. Tickets available at URBTIX (www.urbtix.hk).
